About My Work

Hi! My name is Natalie and I'm an
archaeologist and Illustrator of
cultural artifacts. I illustrate
antiquities of many cultural identities
for a variety of academic uses,
generally in the traditional medium
of pencil and paper. When the final
result is achieved, I ink in with acid
free archival ink pens and begin the
process of digitizing. Thus, I utilize
Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop to edit
illustrations so they can be publication
ready. This digital portfolio is for the purpose of showcasing my past sketches, which are unpublished, in order to present the level of work I provide for curious academics and professional clients alike. As a freelance illustrator, my work is largely aimed at archaeologists seeking publication-level illustrations of their artifacts but I can also accept commissioned work for personal uses. {in which case the physical copies can be provided with the digital. PDF or JPEG form are standard but other outputs can be arranged depending on the needs, wants, or publications}
Thank you for taking an interest in my work! Feel free to browse my portfolio under the 'Gallery' tab as well as contact me via any of the contact information provided in the 'Contact' tab of this website. I hope you enjoy! -Natalie
